The magnetic attachment is very convenient. Removed 1 star each because:
a) It is hard to open the lower wider segments without undoing all the ones above (which are never needed anyway)
b) you can’t pan left or right without loosening the legs, which means the only way to point it straight is by positioning the legs. Sometimes this is annoying when trying to get a face on shot in a small range bay

If your phone supports the magnetic buy this. Perfect, easy, great! Do not try the otherway to fix the phone to the pod as it is not as comfortable. Should have bought this in the first place!
